About Me

I have joined Substack and created this page as a platform for expressing and sharing the “art”, that bubbles up from my soul bringing me joy.

This is an eclectic site as I have an experimental nature, searching out truth and enlightenment through trial and error, restlessly driven to challenge the status quo, and seeking new experiences, projects, and quests. The content on this page will reflect that divergent nature.

I think differently than most other coaches and mentors, forging a departure from established beliefs or standards, and this is why I have called myself The Health Heretic. You can visit my website The Health Heretic where I share radical, natural health optimisation and healing practices, a bifurcation from our heavily medicated world.

From a very young age I have embodied a deep sense of wholeness and connection to the natural world, holding it in deepest reverence. Such wholeness resides in every one of us, even if you do not feel it. I offer healing sessions that are rooted in strength and integrity, and will truly shift soul disquiets at your very core, to address imbalances in your life using a holy trinity method of mind, body, and soul, (or emotional, physical, and spiritual), to guide you home to wholeness. Again, if you are wanting to know more about these sacred healing practices then please visit my website The Health Heretic.

I thrive on learning from my mistakes whether or not they are born out of success or failure, as I strongly believe that there is no such thing as defeat, only opportunities to learn and do better. I truly value the art of reframing.

Another aspect of this blog will be to record my solopreneur/mompreneur journey following minimal and peaceful marketing principles that are gentle and simple, and soothing to my soul. If you have had enough of working out of alignment with your values, mindlessly serving the algorithm, and feeling pressure to get thousands of followers on social media, then you may be interested in following along with my progress, as over the past year, I have taken stock and I am now excited to be laying a foundation for change, again, going against orthodox marketing strategies, and on a mission to market myself my way.

I feel passionate about assimilating information and finding truth, and that is a part of what I aspire to write about in this space, in my magpie-manifold manner. I could separate out the disparate aspects of the subjects I intend to cover here, into different Substack sites, but that is not my way. I prefer that a myriad of ideas merge together as one harmonic symphony of potentiality flowing along to its own natural, evolving rhythm.

I am also using this space to share my creative writing. It has been my intention to write a novel, which I have been writing in fits and starts, challenged by blessed interruptions that I would not change for the world. Upon discovering Substack, it seemed like a beautiful, serendipitous opportunity, as it really feels unlikely that I am going to self-publish on KDP Amazon which made me feel out of alignment and uncomfortable anyway.

So, I will be posting about these things described above, and will be aiming to post on one of the above aspects, at least once a week.

My content is behind a paywall because I attach serious value to the pieces that I create; it is all original and I do not use AI to help me write or generate content, (although I do use it to help me create images).

What I share here incorporates my values, essence, and the vulnerability that comes with offering our art up to others. I share this content in the hope that it will inspire positive change and transformational healing in the rest of the world, as community is a staunch value of mine, and when we come together in community we are strong as we should be, and beautiful magic happens.

There will be occasional posts for free subscribers, and if you really would like to receive my posts but cannot afford the subscription price then please message me and I will see what I can do for you.

My first post is now up and is not behind a paywall. It is the first part of my unfinished, fictional reimagining of Wordsworth’s poem, “The Thorn”, exploring the tragic fate of the hauntingly, mysterious Martha Ray.

Another ghastly hyena wail pierces through my sea thoughts. Here she goes again. A banshee is less terrifying, haunting the sid, than she. I look over to the grassy mound, the green a deep luscious absinthe, vivid against the cheerless grey. Her vermillion cloak enhances the unearthly and exoticness of her being. She is truly, a hypnotic curiosity.
